With metallics potentially reaching their peak soon (I think they'll be worn out by Spring 17), the irridescent trend seems to be evolving into something a bit less obvious, more sophisticated, and with an "old money" feel...satin. All over the haute couture runway and now onto the hottest of celebs, it's beginning it's trickle into the regular population.

I am interested to see how this plays out as the weather gets cooler. We already have seen some layering with satin, will this continue with leggings as well as t-shirts?


In all honesty, I think it'll move into jackets and pants for wintertime, but come spring, everyone and their mother will have a satin dress and a choker. So invest in a wintery satin bomber jacket or get use out of that satin dress now, because in spring it will be at it's peak!
