I know it has been forever since I've been on this blog, but college has been a lot and stressful, but I am going to London and Paris this summer to study fashion and I've been obsessed with Parisian style. I've posted some of my favorites and iconic pieces to look tres chic no matter where you are. Many of these pieces are also perfect for early spring.

Neutrals - The Parisians love their neutrals, and while a splash of color here and there really pops, you will find most stick to black, white and nude tones.
Trench coats - Classic for any season really, these have a cute springy look, especially with pastels or a skirt.

Full tulle skirts - These are by far my favorite pick of all. They're girly and chic and reminiscent of Holly Golightly. Somehow they capture elegance and are fun too.

I love swimsuits and I love swim shopping. I know as a woman I'm supposed to complain about not having a "bikini body" and whatever, but honestly I do not care (everyones legs jiggle I promise you). I love the bright prints and ability to mix and match, honestly you can wear just about anything for a swim suit and it will be cute (note the almost). Anyways, here are some styles and colors I've found super adorable and seen a lot this season in stores and online.

Tropical print- I love this print (ok ok I'll stop saying "love"). Something about tropical print is so girly and yet sexy, and it looks universally good. Some tropical prints are mixing with other prints like leopard/cheetah print, but I prefer to not mix.

Ok, so usually my "pick" posts are about a certain type of clothing or style, but now that spring has sprung and I'm into summer, green has been all over and I love it! Usually green isn't my sort of color, but something about the preppy styles and florals of this time of year have gotten me more into it. Here are some of my favorite shades of green this season, as well as some ideas of how I would wear them.

Hunter green-Usually more of a winter color, I've found I really like this color for accent pieces or accessories, so I can incorporate the green without looking out of season.

So as college approaches more and more, I've been thinking about how my style will change and what I want to wear (side note; if you want me to do a post about college fashion just comment!). Somehow I've really gotten into this "preppy" theme, and long story short, preppy clothes cost a lot. So in my search to save my poor, minimum-wage-working-butt, I've been looking for dupes of popular classic and upscale brands. In my search, I found this cute shop through Etsy, called Marina's Closet. She uses fabrics of popular brands like Lilly Pulitzer and Ralph Lauren Polo to make cute accessories. The best part is the prices are pretty reasonable, and knowing it comes from a small business is nice too.

While searching for Kimono's for my "Pick of the Week - Kimono's" post, I stumbled across this cute shop on Etsy. For those of you who haven't already become obsessed with Etsy, it's an online site for people to sell their clothes, boutique style. Favorite part: The store has AMAZING beach clothes and accessories that remind you of magazine photos and summer break at the beach. The store has 5 star reviews, many followers on Instagram and admirers on Etsy, so it seems very reliable for shipping and quality.

Least favorite part: The clothes are a bit on the pricier side, ($60 for a pair of Pom pom shorts, whereas I've found them online for about $20).
