Trending Now: Embroidery

November 11, 2016

The first thing that comes to mind for me when I think embroidery is grandma. But it's been all over runways like Gucci and McQueen, and has finally become very accessible to us normal people.

So how do you wear this trend without looking like gram-gram? Pair embroidered "accent" pieces with plain ones, avoid mixing too many colors, and start off with the easy to wear pieces.

My favorite easy to wear pieces are:

Jackets (combine this with the satin bomber jacket trend!)

But there's so many other ways to wear this trend, and it isn't too far from the trend of wearing patches, so try both! If you're feeling adventurous, here are some of my favorites that take a little more courage to style.
